Our Approach
We worked in close partnership with nZero Group and DXDMedia, who provided the content and messaging strategy for the project. This collaborative, three-way approach ensured that the technical depth and brand positioning were right from the outset - something that matters enormously in a complex B2B sector where credibility is everything.
The project began with a comprehensive review of the existing site, identifying where the previous build fell short in both design and information architecture. We then developed a custom WordPress build structured around the Group's core proposition: solving complex strategic challenges from concept to operational delivery for the energy sector.
The new site architecture was designed to give each area of the business the visibility it deserved. Dedicated sections were created for the Group's key capabilities - including gas quality and metering systems, process control solutions, analyser and safety systems, biomethane grid entry units, hydrogen blending solutions, and cyber security services. This ensured that visitors, whether they were procurement teams at major gas networks or engineering managers at industrial facilities, could quickly find relevant information and build confidence in nZero Group's expertise.
The design itself reflects the professionalism and innovation that defines the brand. Clean layouts, considered use of the nZero Group visual identity, and strong calls to action create a user experience that builds trust and drives enquiries. A case studies section was integrated to showcase the Group's extensive project portfolio, while a news and insights area supports ongoing content and thought leadership.
Performance was addressed throughout the build, with optimised loading times and clean, efficient code delivering the technical foundation needed for a strong digital presence.
The timing of the project proved significant. Shortly after the new website went live, nZero Group successfully exited and was acquired by Bilfinger, the international industrial services provider, in a deal that positioned Bilfinger at the forefront of the energy transition in the UK. The website we built played its part - presenting nZero Group as the credible, well-structured, and professionally positioned business it is, at exactly the right moment. We continue to support Bilfinger with the nZero Group digital presence.
